October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a campaign in the United States founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Center for Bullying Prevention. The campaign unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. fohr is stepping up and supporting anti-bullying efforts in a BIG way. Throughout the month of October, fohr will launch several videos and photoshoot campaigns across social media outlets aimed to bring awareness to this important issue facing our youth. This month serves as a reminder that bullying prevention must be addressed, and one way to accomplish this is through educating ourselves, our communities and the youth in our lives.
According to stopbullying.gov, an anti-bullying awareness organization, bullying is defined as “unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.”
Our first step towards raising awareness is demonstrated in this video featuring international model and singer, Liane V., and child model, Krischelle Delgado. Krischelle is F.A.B! She’s the (F.A.B) Future Against Bullying! Krischelle is a strong activist against bullying and will continue to spread anti-bullying awareness to all youth worldwide. We support her and will continue to help spread the word.
